How it works
How permanent holiday lighting works
A permanent system starts with a slim track fixed along your roofline, eaves or fascia. Weatherproof LED lights sit inside the track, so there are no strings to hang, tape or unplug. A small controller placed out of sight connects the lights to your phone.
From there, every look is a setting. Red and green for December, orange for Halloween, school colors for homecoming, or a quiet warm white for any ordinary evening. Schedules switch the lights on at dusk and off at bedtime without anyone touching a switch.
Because the lights follow the lines of your house, they highlight its shape instead of covering it. We plan the run around peaks, gables, windows and rooflines so it looks designed, not draped.

We measure your roofline
Often after dark, so we can see the look you want. We note peaks, gables, outlets and anything that affects the layout.
You approve a layout and price
A written plan shows where lights will run and what the project costs before anything is installed.
Installation and scene setup
We mount the track, add the lights, connect the controller and program your scenes, then show you around the app.

What's covered
- We find the fault, take down the failed sections and reinstall the replacement at no labor charge.

- Up to 2 service visits a year, booked within 7 days.
- Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Parts outside that warranty are billed at cost.
Not covered: storm, lightning or impact damage, roof or gutter work, or changes made by others.

Permanent holiday lighting questions
How long does installation take?
Most standard installs take 4 to 8 hours. It depends on the length and complexity of your roofline, and we'll give you a time estimate when we measure.
Do the lights stay on the house all year?
That's the idea. The track stays mounted year-round and you decide when the lights are on and what color they are. The track is covered by our 3-year warranty, and the lights carry the manufacturer's warranty.
Can I change the colors myself?
Yes. Colors, patterns and schedules are controlled from an app, so you can switch looks without calling us.
Will it work on a complicated roofline?
Often yes. Gables, dormers and multiple rooflines are part of planning the layout. We will tell you at the measurement what is practical and what it will cost.
What if a light stops working?
The lights carry the manufacturer's warranty and the track has our 3-year warranty. Add the Lighting Care Plan and we also find the fault, take down and reinstall the failed section, and handle the warranty claim for you, at no labor charge.
Can I supply my own lights?
Yes. If you already have lights or prefer to buy your own, we can install them. We'll check they're suitable for permanent mounting at your visit.
